Attic

Spray foam insulation in attic spaces creates an airtight seal that blocks hot air in the summer and traps warm air in the winter. This helps to improve energy consumption, lower energy bills, and take strain off of your HVAC unit.

Between Floors/Garage Ceiling

When applied between floors or on garage ceilings, spray foam insulation reduces sound transmission and creates a quieter home by dampening noise from foot traffic, garage activity, and more.

Crawlspace

Spray foam insulation in crawlspaces helps to prevent moisture buildup and mold growth by creating a moisture-resistant barrier. It also helps seal off air leaks and keep pests and cold air out while improving the overall energy efficiency of your home.

Exterior Walls

Spray foam insulation in exterior walls provides a thermal barrier that prevents leaks and keeps indoor temperatures stable. Spray foam insulation in exterior walls also functions as a sound barrier and significantly cuts down on noise intrusion.

PolyCon Closed Cell Insulation

High-yield, medium-density closed cell spray foam with broad temperature application tolerance. Perfect for robust air barrier solutions.

Two Types of Spray Foam Insulation:

Open Cell – Performance upgrade over traditional insulation, providing a fully adhered air barrier

Closed Cell – Premium spray foam offers the highest insulation performance, air and moisture barrier, and added structural integrity

Much of the below information can be used interchangeably between Open and Closed Cell Insulation with the exception that only Closed Cell provides moisture control and adding structural stability.

WHY SPRAY FOAM INSULATION?

Spray foam is a lightweight, durable, and versatile insulation solution engineered for the highest performance in energy efficiency and energy cost savings. Spray Foam insulation is the optimal solution for all residential designs.

• Fully adheres to most construction substrates
• Professionally installed
• Best insulation for all climate zones
• Contributes to the wellness of occupants
• Lasts the life of the structure

TRUE COMFORT & ENERGY EFFICIENCY

What really makes a house a home is how comfortable it feels to you and your family. Imagine living in a home where the temperature remains consistent…no hot or cold spots. Homes insulated with PolyCon Spray Foam are just simply more comfortable because you control the environment within. And along with the benefits of comfort, you will also enjoy: noise reduction, better air quality, and reduced energy consumption.

All of this adds up to a more comfortable, efficient home for you and your family.

YOUR OPTIMAL SOLUTION FOR…

  • Up to 45% energy savings for the life of your home
  • Improved air quality
  • Reducing the infiltration of pollutants, allergens, and other harmful asthma triggers from entering your home
  • Enhancing comfort and wellness
  • Minimizing unwanted exterior noise
  • Eliminating hot and cold spots
  • Consistent comfort throughout your home
  • Air and moisture control to prevent the formation of harmful mold and mildew

Spray foam effectively seals the building envelope, filling in any cracks and crevices, the common source of air and moisture infiltration as well as temperature variations.

POLYCON spray foam insulation works by sealing the building envelope to stop conditioned air from escaping and prevent unwanted outside air from entering your home. POLYCON is a fully adhered insulation that is spray applied into wall cavities providing a continuous air and moisture barrier. Spray foam allows efficient use of your HVAC system and helps regulate the temperature fluctuations and humidity in your home.

The Best Insulation Solution for…

  • Indoor Comfort
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Energy Cost Savings
  • Indoor Air Quality
  • Eliminating Hot and Cold Spots

The Department of Energy reports that heating and cooling accounts for approximately 56% of the energy used in the typical home.

There are important differences to note between spray foam insulation systems and traditional insulation materials. The primary feature is that spray foam does not sag, settle, or shrink over time. Spray foam insulation is spray applied to fill cavities of any shape providing a continuous air barrier and it stays in place. Because traditional insulation does not directly adhere to the substrate, the chance of the insulation material sagging overtime is high. If traditional insulation is not properly installed around irregular framing areas or it shrinks in the wall cavity, voids of 1-2% can lower the effective R-value of traditional insulation materials by 25-40%.
